Pictured are two recently completed chimneypiececs using genuine, highest quality Italian marble. The originals had been stolen and the details for these replacements were researched from the remaining footprint, original photographs and information obtained from various museums. The rich, dark Medici Siena veneer proved especially difficult to obtain, but well worth the effort. The entire project was worked using traditional tools.
